Hi All

I have a Fritz!box router set as mesh master and RE450 and RE550 extenders. When setup using WPS the RE450 works perfectly as a mesh system and roaming is seamless. The RE550 however will not configure as mesh and only works as an extender. TP-Link website says the 550 is Easymesh compatible while some others say not but uses TP-Links own One mesh system and some others say it's not mesh compatible at all.

So does anyone have experience of the RE550 working with Easymesh or not?

Yes, the RE550 is in the EasyMesh compatible list. Please confirm the firmware is up-to-date.

When you try to add the RE550, please power off the RE450 temporarily.
