Hi I have 3 extender RE220 devices in my home one on every floor. All working fine except one which I need to reconnect. Problem is I can't get into the app as I've forgotten my password. The advice is to factory reset everything which seems a lot of hassle for a simple password reset.

Any ways around this?

thanks

Hello  @CJT77 ,

Thank you for contacting our community.

Yes, since the login passwords were created by yourself. If you forgot the login password to manage the extender, you need to perform a hard reset on the extender as below:
With the power on, use a pin to press the button for 1 second to reset the extender.

But if you forgot the TP-Link ID password.
    1. Open the Tether app and select "Forget Password" on the login screen.
    2. Enter the email linked to your TP-Link ID and click "Reset Password," prompting a password reset email to be sent to you.
    3. Locate the email in your inbox, open it, and follow the steps to set a new password.
