RE705X V1 and Fastweb nexxt one easy mesh compatibility issue

Hi all,
I tried to setup an Easy Mesh wifi network between my Fastweb nexxt one router and the TP link re705x range extender with no success.
Both router and range extender firmware are at their latest version.
Associating the devices through WPS seems fine but the router management page shows RE705X node as inactive.
Any clues about that? Does anyone know if there is any compatibility issue? If yes, if there any other compatible range extender?
Thanks in advance for the help

Hello@PaoloFranzini ,
Welcome to our community.
After creating an EasyMesh network using WPS, are all the LED lights on the RE705X lit? If yes, that means the RE705X is working. You can place RE705X in different locations to see if the signal coverage is extended. If so, it can also prove that RE705X is working.
For the inactive display on the router, you may need to consult router support.
If RE705X is not working, please reset RE705X and configure it in other ways, such as adding RE705X in the Mesh interface of the main router. Take TP-Link router for an example,How to add an extender to an EasyMesh network as a satellite device.

@Joseph-TP thanks for the reply
After WPS association, all the leds but the 2.4G are lit despite my ISP router offers 2.4 and 5Ghz bands.
I tried to reset the RE705X and associate it by WPS or web interface many times with the same result.
I also tried to reset the extender and add the mac address i found in the bottom of the device to the router management interface but the web interface shows no devices found.
Is it the correct MAC address? on the management interface i found a couple of similar mac address, maybe i should try to add those?
Shall i try to separate the 2.4 and 5Ghz bands on my ISP router as well?

Hello@PaoloFranzini ,
Thanks for getting back to me.
If you want to check the Mac address of the extender, you can find it on the client list of the router.
It is recommended that you can hard reset the extender: use a pin to press the reset hole for 1 second to reset the extender.
Please turn off the router's Guest network or other networks such as Multi-SSID first.
Then you can separate 2.4G and 5G of the router, and try to configure RE705X again.

Hello @ldrago ,
Thanks for your reply.
Please confirm with the support of Fastweb nexxt one to check if it supports EasyMesh.
If yes, please hard reset the RE500X, and use WPS method to configure the RE500X as a satellite unit in the EasyMesh network.
