I dont know, but this is not minor version like V1.2 and based on the products versioning history of tplink, new major version number usually means hardware changes

Regarding the Archer BE230 V1 and V2, they have different firmware, so there are clearly "production revisions, not just "packaging". it is also worth pointing out that when products go EOL, the later versions usually have later EOL dates. For example, in the US EOL list V3, the Archer AX6000 V1.0 was EOL on 04/23/24 but AX6000 V2.0 was EOL on 09/24/2025, over a year later.
Therefore I suggest it is highly advisable to get the latest version applicable to your location if there is a choice. I also note it is very difficult to find out which version you are buying without going to the store. It seems very few if any retailers tell you this in their promotional material for this type of product, so if shopping online, you should inquire before buying.
