Model: Archer AX12
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.22 Build 20240311 Rel. 73956(5553)

2.4ghz is missing from the list of available networks.

After months of smooth operation, 2.4ghz suddenly went missing. Its still enabled on the UI.

Have already tried the following:

- made sure 2.4ghz is enabled, and smart connect off.

- have tried enabling 2.4ghz guest network, still not showing up.

- Factory reset using both the physical reset button on the router, and from the UI.

any help is appreciated.

Hello @jewicked ,

Welcome to our community.

If you can not see 2.4G Wi-Fi, please refer to:

1. Check the WI-FI lights, if they are off, press the WI-FI/WPS button on the back of router for about 5-10s until the lights flashing, then confirm whether the WI-FI can be detected when lights are stable.
2. If WI-FI lights are on, open the Tether APP, go to More > Wi-Fi Settings, and make sure the 2.4G network is enabled and not hidden.
3. Check whether all your devices can't see the TP-LINK WI-FI, if only certain devices, update the driver or system on your wireless client device.
4. Try another Router with your wireless devices for a comparison.

Still having issues? Please contact local TP-Link support with the results of the above troubleshooting steps.
