BE550 v1 Low WiFi upload speed on smartphones?

Hi
I have a problem with my BE550 router. The problem is that after the latest firmware release I can't get pass 160-220mbit/s upload speed using our smartphones (Samsung S24 Ultra, S20 Ultra & iPhone 15) no matter which channel I use. I've tried 5Ghz & 6Ghz without luck.
I have fiber 1000/1000 internet speed
I can fine get 950 DL/950 UL on my PC & laptop but not on our smartphones (speedtest app)
I've tried to reset the router without it fixed the issue?

Hello @SezteC ,
Welcome to our community.
Do both PC &laptop connect to the router wirelessly?
For comparison, you can enable the guest network and test the smartphones' speed.
If only smartphones' speed were limited, please check if you have set QoS for these clients. If yes, disable QoS for a try.
Here are other suggestions that may help you:
- Disable parental control: go to Advanced >> Parental Control.
- Change wireless channel: go to Advanced >> Wireless Settings to change the 5GHz Wi-Fi channel. You may try different channels to find the best one for your environment.
- Disable SIP ALG and UPNP: go to Advanced >> NAT Forwarding >> UPNP to disable UPNP; go to Advanced>> Security to disable SIP ALG.
- Try a few other speedtest servers, other servers might reach better speeds.

Hello@SezteC ,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Is the firmware 1.1.3 Build 20250421 rel.24697 now?
Please let me know if your network topology diagram is as follows:
ISP modem—BE550 in router mode )))((( client devices
(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )
Who is your ISP? And what is the model of the ISP modem?
In addition, can I confirm the operating systems of your phones?
Can you compare the upload speeds of your phones connected to the BE550 running version 1.1.2 to see if they return to normal? Before that, you can save backup files to restore the settings.
How to create and restore from a backup file on your TP-Link Router
Note: Please ensure that your wireless settings are consistent, for example, both are 5G, using the same channel and channel width.
We have also reported the issue to our support engineers, and they will likely contact you via email to continue troubleshooting your issue. Please check your email inbox and confirm.

Hi
There is no firmware version 1.1.3 on my end it says that the firmware is up to date?
I'm from EU so my BE550 is EU version?
on this site it says 1.1.2 is the latest firmware: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-be550/v1/#Firmware

Hi @SezteC ,
Welcome back.
Regarding version 1.1.3, we've recently received some users' feedback regarding unexpected behavior with this firmware. This primarily affects the BE550 in Access Point mode, not Wireless Router mode.
We are currently working on a fix for this firmware and will release a new firmware soon.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Hi
I upgraded to the latest firmware but the issue still persist.
But I think it's a smartphone firmware/software limititation and not the router's fault.. So we can end this here.
Though I could get over 300mbps upload speed with firmware version 1.1.1 when I had it?
