Hi  @NLwilliam

Thanks for posting here.

Possible Reasons & Solutions:

1. Wi-Fi Signal Strength & Range
   - The TP-Link X60 might have a stronger or more stable signal than your Omada access point (AP).
   - Solution:
     - Move closer to the Omada AP or adjust its placement.
     - Reduce interference (e.g., walls, appliances, other Wi-Fi networks).
     - Check if the Omada AP is too far away or obstructed.

2. Network Name (SSID) & Password Mismatch
   - Issue: If both networks have the same SSID and password, your device might auto-connect to the stronger signal (X60).
   - Solution:
     - Ensure the Omada network has a different SSID (e.g., "Omada_Network" vs. "TP-Link_X60").
     - Forget the X60 network on your device if you want to prioritize Omada.

3. Band Steering or Roaming Issues
   - If both networks are on the same frequency (2.4GHz/5GHz), your device may not switch properly.
   - **Solution:**
     - Disable band steering in Omada settings if enabled.
     - Adjust minimum RSSI in Omada Controller to force weak clients to roam.
     - Ensure 802.11k/v/r (Fast Roaming) is enabled in Omada for better handoffs.

4. Security & Authentication Reasons
   - If Omada uses WPA3 or a different security protocol, some devices may prefer the X60's simpler security.
   - Solution:
     - Try setting Omada to WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode.
     - Check if the device has compatibility issues with Omada’s encryption.

5. Device-Specific Preferences
   - Some devices (phones, laptops) remember past networks and auto-connect to the "preferred" one (X60).
   - Solution:
     - Forget the X60 network on your device temporarily.
     - Manually connect to Omada first to train the device.
     - On Windows, use `netsh wlan show networks` to check network priorities.

Quick Troubleshooting Steps:
1. **Restart** your device and the Omada AP.
2. **Forget the X60 network** on your device and reconnect to Omada.
3. **Test with another device** to see if the issue is device-specific.

If the problem persists, provide more details (e.g., X60  model, device type, error messages) for further help! 🚀
