Hello,

I have a re450 that works fine, but now have notice that the 5G blue light does not come on all the time and also notice that sometimes the Re450 will loose connection for about a second and then connect and work fine the firmware is up to date.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to our community!

 

The 5Ghz light on/off means the extender is connected or not connected to the 5GHz wireless network of your host router.

The current placement may be causing interference with 5GHz, or the 5GHz connection on the front end may be unstable. You can try adjusting the position to ensure the RE450 receives a more complete signal.
If adjusting the position is not convenient, but the overall system is functioning normally, you can leave the current settings as is.
