Hey TP-Link Community,

Just wanted to pitch an idea that popped into my head this morning—what if we had a little AI helper that could write scripts for QoS setup on our routers? Imagine:

"Hi AI, please prioritize my smart lightbulbs and video calls over everything else."

AI spits out a neat CLI/automation script instantly.

On top of being a massive time-saver, it could even throw in a cheeky comment like:

# Script generated by AI: Your network piggy bank just got a budget upgrade.

Because, let's face it, we all love a router that has a sense of humor.

Why this could help:

No more endless clicking in the web UI—just a quick tweak via script.

Perfect for power users juggling multiple devices and QoS rules.

Adds flexibility for advanced configurations without drilling through pages of settings.

Has anyone tinkered with AI-assisted QoS setup before? Would you trust a bot to shape your bandwidth rules—or do you prefer setting things manually?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts—and any AI-generated puns the system can throw back at us!

— A user dreaming of smarter, sassier QoS configuration 😉

@cbum63 Pretty cool discussion. I’ve also played around with AI assistants for generating setup scripts, and the results are surprisingly solid. If anyone wants to try something similar, just search deepseekaifree on Google — it’s an easy way to test prompts without signup.
