Extender not accepting router password

I've just set up my RE705X extender and used WPS to link with my Vodafone router. I've got 4 solid blue lights and I can see the Xx_EXT signal which is very strong. However, despite repeated attempts, when I attempt to login, it will not accept my router password.

For your case, please hard reset the extender and reconfigure it via other methods.
With the power on, use a pin to press the button for 1 second to reset the extender.
