I am testing out my newly purchased AC750 Travel by trying to connect it to my home WiFi Router via WiFi (not connected via an ethernet cable). I have the switch on the travel router set to Share hotspot and successfully completed the configuration. I still cannot establish a connection to my home WiFi and therefore not to the Internet either. I spoke to my ISP who has said I need to use WPS.

I have turned on WPS on my home router and then pressed the WPS button on the travel router. The WPS flashes on the travel router but then it eventually goes off. I have spent hours trying to get this to work. I am at the point of returning the travel router to Amazon. Can anyone help?

If you want to expand the network of the main router via wireless, you can set the TL-WR902AC to Hotspot mode as follows:

How to configure TL-WR902AC as Hotspot Router (new logo)?

For other operation modes, you can refer to How to choose the right working mode for the Nano pocket routers.

 

If you can, please enable hotspot on your phone. Then connect the TL-WR902AC to your phone's hotspot, and test if it can access the internet.
