Model: RE505X
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20241224 Rel. 35085

My Range extender keeps disonnecting from the 5G network and do not reconnect even if the signal strngth is more then sufficiant close to 90%.

I have no problems connecting my other devices to the 5G network from the same location as the extender is located.

Hello@Svein_Vik ,

Welcome to our community.

When the 5G connection drops, will the 5G light turn off?

To address intermittent wireless connection issues on the range extender, please follow these steps:
    1. Ensure the extender’s Wi-Fi name differs from the router’s.
    2. Update the extender’s firmware to the latest version.
    3. Reposition the extender for optimal signal strength, refer to How to place your wireless Range Extender for optimal reception and performance.
    4. Set the router’s 5GHz channel to Band 1 (36-48).

Best Regards.
