So I heard nothing more from TP-LInk.

I now have the possibility of forgetting the network, starting from scratch and hoping that the 6ghz band appears.

If it doesn't then I've wasted a load of time to get back to where I was.

Plan B is order Asus XT9 and start from scratch.

I'd like sone advice.

Can TP get this 6ghz band to appear or am I sending it back?

It's the weekend for the tp-link staff so you might not here back for 24 to 48 hours sorry

Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware? Router or AP mode? https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/699816?page=1

Don't worry about it.

I spent the last 24 hours figuring it out. It is not possible to simply add xe75 Pro to an existing x 50 network. You will never get the six gigahertz band to show. The only way to remedy this situation is to scrap the network remove all units from the existing wireless network. Then create exactly the same set up from scratch using the X e75 pros from the very beginning. It would have been very useful to know this before I wasted all of the time trying to preserve all of my existing network and it's clients only to find that the network that was originally set up under pins the features that are available going forward. So x e75 pros maybe backward compatible however you are restricted to the Technologies that the original wireless network was set up with in this case 2.4 gigahertz and 5 gigahertz bands only.
