Archer AXE75 mobile apps not working on wifi

Hi - since I installed with router, mobile apps on iphones won't load on the wifi. Browsers will work but mobile apps are a problem.
I've turned off the SPI firewall as I read this might cause issues but doesn't appear to help.
Any advice and getting stuff to work would be great!

Hello@pelham14 ,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Have you tested the Apps on a different wireless device? If Apps also cannot be loaded properly on this wireless device, please consider a Mac clone.
Do you still have the old router? It is recommended that you do a Mac clone for the Archer AXE75: How do I configure MAC Address Clone on my TP-Link Archer Router?
If it doesn't work, please hard reset the router: Press and hold the reset button/hole for about 6 seconds until the Power LED blinks to reset the router to its factory default settings.
Then configure it step by step again.
Best Regards.

Hello @pelham14 ,
Welcome to our community.
For your case, here are some suggestions that may help you:
1. Identify ISP issue:
You can disconnect the router and connect your old router back to the ISP modem for comparison.
2. Ensure that no VPN or network proxy is enabled on your PC or phone.
3. Open the Tether app, go to MORE > Internet Connection, change the DNS server to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. After updating the DNS server, you can reconnect your device to the router network to make sure the new DNS settings take effect.
4. Check the Parental Control settings, including content filtering and website blocking.
5. On several TP-Link router models, the "Antivirus" or "Real-Time Protection" feature might block potentially malicious websites. Could you check the Antivirus or Real-Time Protection history to see if the websites are being blocked?
Best Regards.

@Joseph-TP thanks for the quick reply.
Running through the list
1. the mobile apps work on the old router.
2. no VPN is in use
3. The DNS server is already on 8.8.8.8 (and gets this dynamically from ISP)
4. I haven't enabled any Parental Controls on the router yet logs below feature a service start mention on Parental Controls
5. I'm not sure where I check this.
I've downloaded this from the logs - is there a chance HomeShield is enabled despite not have signed up for it? I can't see it enabled on the tether app anywhere.
