Archer C6 issues
Firstly I have to mention the system log.
Who in earth thought it would be a good idea to set the uptime as the time stamp for each post?
Every other router I've had through the years have hade the actual time by each event, so you'd know when it happened.
Now you tell people to look at the LED lights to see what color they have when internet drops.
Further I wonder how many of us, your customers, have to complain about the connection between loss in internet connection and these errors:
19 ERROR 0days, 00:00:25, [inetd]INETD: select error, abort.
20 WARNING 0days, 00:00:25, [cwmp]cwmp is not start
21 WARNING 0days, 00:00:25, [cwmp]cwmp is not start
If it doesn't have anything to do with the router, then it's just bad communication of what's actually wrong.
I have CWMP turned off. Why is the router warning me that it “is not start”, twice (!)?
What does “select error” even mean?
Finally - How come you have a product that needs to have a certain setting to make it work? The advice I've seen here is:
1. The initial attitude is “It can't be our fault, it must be the ISP
2. Before you even suggest it's our product you need to follow these ridiculous steps (like watching LED lights). Oh, you actually did them? Sure it isn't the ISP?
3. Turn off this setting here and hope for the best.
Of all the network related products I've bought over the years. Archer C6 is by far the worst. I'm getting rid of all tp-link products and replacing them with something that will make me keeping my sanity.
