Night LED mode missing?

As per the subject, is the night LED mode not possible in this model? I have it on the RE700X which is a more basic unit, it seems odd not having here.

Use a web browser to access your RE WebGUI:
1. Visit http://www.tplinkrepeater.net, and log in with your TP-Link ID or the password
you set for the extender.
Then you should be able to see the Night Mode settings.
This is described in your REs user guide - Chapter 7.2 - Control LEDs (here).

Hello @gspinoza ,
Welcome to our community.
Referring to the page 39 of RE900XD(EU)_V1_User Guide, you can go to Settings > System Tools > LED Control
1. Select Night Mode.
2. Specify the LED off time period.
Note: The effective time schedule for Night Mode is based on the system time of the extender. Refer to Set System Time to get the correct system time.
3. Click Save.

@terziyski thanks, I was able to set the night mode on the RE900XD following your directions.
I find it odd that this particular setting can be found only in the webpage, and only for this model.

Hello @gspinoza ,
Do you mean that you could access Night mode on the Tether App for the RE700X before?

@Joseph-TP I don't remember doing anything in the WebGUI before, but maybe I remember wrong.

Hi @gspinoza ,
From the RE700X(EU)_User Guide, the Night Mode can be set via Web interface. So, I think it also needs to be configured through the web interface.
In any case, you can now use Night mode normally and continue to enjoy the RE900XD.
Feel free to contact us if you have further questions.

@Joseph-TP thanks, but I think there is an issue with the RE900XD.
I set night mode through the web interface, but only the power led went off, while the WiFi led still stayed on:
I don't think this is the intended way, because it doesn't make a lot of sense.

Hello@gspinoza ,
Have you rebooted the RE900XD during the Night Mode time?
If not, please help collect the system log and backup file,go to Settings-->System Tools.
Then send files to support.forum@tp-link.com, attaching [Forum ID 839116] and details, and we will have a dedicated person to assist in analysis and follow-up.
