Hello  @David-TP,
don't take it personal, I am so sorry to push but I wonder whether we're gonna get an update any soon or I can start boxing and returning the XE75 Pro.

Thank you.

All the best,

Andrea

I have just upgraded my Deco XE75 Pro V3.0 with firmware 1.4.0 https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/856648?moduleId=39 and ECO Mode is finally available on the device.

  @Alfadelta74
Just curious, if you turn on ECO mode, will it completely turn off wifi?

  @AgileCowboy Unfortunately I don't have a spectrum analyzer to check what happens at radio frequency level. However when ECO Mode is scheduled to turn Wi-Fi off, the router goes from about 8.5 Wh consumption to about 7.5 Wh. Measure done with 23 clients connected, all idle, with no big data transfers underway.

(Considering that I schedule Wi-Fi to turn off form 23pm to 7am I save 8 Wh a day or 2920 Wh per year, say 3 kWh per year * 0.35 €/kWh it goes 1 € saving!)

Hi  @Alfadelta74, thanks for providing the details. My question was more related to using a wifi backhaul. Some eco friendly solutions only partially turn off wifi (e.g. 2.4 and 5 Ghz) leaving 6 Ghz on to be able to communicate between the devices. I quickly glanced at v1.4 code used to disable wifi and it appears all frequencies are trully disabled.
Now I'm wondering when this version will be released to the larger public.
