Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.7

Hello. I've been trying to connect two tp-link routers for Wireless internet access. The setup goes as follow:

ISP modem -> router 1 (AX1500 Gigabit Wi-Fi 6) -> router 2 (Archer C6)

Router 1 has been setup under "Router" operation mode and I can perfectly connect using cable and wireless internet both from the modem and router 1.

I'm using a Ethernet cable to connect router 1 to router 2, and that same cable when connected directly to my computer allows for internet connection. The problem is on how to configure/use the Archer router to provide wireless internet access. I've using it under "router" operation mode but I always get an orange light and can't connect to the internet (although I can access tplinkwifi.net and configure it). When using it as "Access point" it still doesn't allow me to connect to the internet.

I've tried looking into many solutions into forums and internet content but haven't been able to find something that properly solves my problems.

Thank you for all the time and consideration for looking into this matter.

Hello @AndreKowalski ,

Welcome to our community.

Have you set static IP on the Archer C6? It is recommended that you hard reset the Archer C6:

Press and hold the Reset button for more than 2 seconds to reset the router to its factory default settings.

Then set it as an Access Point again.

For more details, please refer to Archer C6(EU)_V2_User Guide.

Best Regards.
