@Rabatonfr Will the fix be implemented in a new firmware? Thanks!

@volunterman Yes, the TP-Link team is investigating the issue and trying to find the root cause. Will take some time but in the new firmware release this issue will be fixed.

The ISP binds the MAC of the device to their system. They need both MAC of the ONU and corresponding VLAN to connect. If i use any other MAC (stock tp link or any other MAC which is not the ISPs provided ONU) it will not connect.

Some ISPs are cooperative and allows us to use any router. Some are not. In that case, we will have to clone the MAC of the stock ISP router to the xx530v.

I hope you understand what I am trying to say

Unfortunately I haven't received any update from TP-Link's side regarding this issue or when the fixed firmware would be released.

My last communication with them regarding this was on 16th October 2025, in which they stated they are trying to figure out the root cause and cannot give an estimated date until they have it figured out.

I'm stuck with this bug as well and dealing the throttled speeds until the fixed firmware is released.
