Hi all, 

I'm new in here and just would like to have advices about a deco system I would like to setup.

My purpose is to :

1) extend the WiFi coverage in the house to connect a number of smart objects (home assistant platform) which are too far from my current internet/wifi router

2) ensure permanent connection for my security objects (4G whenever WiFi is down : 4G would be a backup only) 

I took a look into deco materials and a combo X50 4G + X50 seems fine for me. Maybe I'm wrong, but I had the impression that the X50-4G is an earlier (outdated ?) version than the current X50alone : would a combination of those allow full functionalities of latest x50 ?
 

any help or advice would be highly appreciated !!
