RE700x V1 (EU) - EasyMesh issues after fw update to 1.2.10
Hello there,
first of all sorry for my poor English.
My setup is now composed by:
-Xx800v as main router - easymesh master role
-2x RE500x as range extenders - easymesh leaf - both running on 1.1.0 Build 20241224 Rel. 35085
-2x RE700x as range extenders - easymesh leaf - both running on 1.2.10 Build 20250627 Rel. 66328
Normal mesh topology therefore consisted of four repeaters connected directly to the master node. Sometimes, expecially after a reboot of the master node (xx800v router), the topology was messed up a little, but, after a while, it come back to "normal" expected status.
Everything was working quite smooth.
A few days ago the Tether app pushed out the fw update for my two RE700x, going from 1.1.4 to 1.2.10, so I pulled the trigger.
After fw update the two RE700x are no more capable to connect to the master node directly via wifi, but only as a "sub-client" of a RE500x (that still connect fine to the xx800v).
Ethernet backhaul now works on RE700x as a new feature of the fw update and they can connect directly to the xx800v via cable, but this is not an option in my enviroment.
If I power off the two RE500x, the RE700x cannot join mesh network anymore (via wifi).
I've already tried to factory reset all the five devices and set them up again with no luck.
Any suggestion?
Thank you,
have a nice day.
