Hi

I have ER605 as gateway and tl-sg2210p as managed switch poe.

i want wnen connected device, the switch will check if the mac is allowed (not only on specific port\s, on all the switch).

like cisco has on their catlyst switches, that when unknow (by mac) connects, in locks and shutdown the port (both data and poe).

how to do that? i know that my switch is not able to shutdown port at all ( i mean also the led light that indcates the port status)...

please help.

and how to add to the list devices that can access?

i know something called nac but dont know what and how to do...

i know port security but it only per port and not all the switch, that means if i connect to another port (5) it will not work and only to this port will work (4).

this all in home lab that i has and learning networking bymyself.

p.s: i also had ax53\3000 as AP that connected to the er605.

Thank you for your post.
For your requirement, you can consider configuring Port Security to lock specific MAC addresses to certain ports.

Please refer to the following FAQ for the setup steps. Although the screenshots show an older interface that differs from the current one, the overall procedure and the locations of the settings remain essentially the same. How to configure port security function
