Archer AX72 VLAN bug – LAN devices on same VLAN cannot communicate
Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with my TP-Link Archer AX72 router. When VLAN is enabled, devices connected via Ethernet on the same VLAN cannot communicate with each other (e.g., Laptop A cannot ping Laptop B, or Laptop cannot ping a network printer).
Details:
-
VLAN settings: Two VLANs configured, but both affected LAN ports are assigned to the "Internet" VLAN.
-
Issue: LAN-to-LAN traffic is blocked when VLAN is enabled, even if both ports are in the same VLAN. When VLAN is disabled, LAN-to-LAN communication works normally.
This seems to be a firmware bug with VLAN handling, since VLAN should not prevent communication between devices within the same VLAN.
Could you please confirm if this is a known issue, and if there is a planned firmware fix or workaround?
Thank you,
