It would be nice to be able to name different SMB file shares from a USB device. As of now they just show up using letter names like "G:" "H:" and "I:" - which is a weird holdover from the DOS/Windows origins of SMB. I can see names of disk partitions when I navigate throught the "Timemachine -> Disk", but the server presents them to clients on the network under letter-only names.
