Connecting Powerline TL-WPA4226KIT to router to get internet connection

I set up the 2 units, one end ethernet cabled to the router, the other plugged in and connected to my laptop via ethernet cable. I seem to have created a wireless netwirk but can't log in. Unsure which password it has (my routers or the strange 16 letter one the TP-LINK utility shows). Not that technical, how do I get this sorted?
