RE700X - After local bin update 1.2.10 it still notices that update is available

Hi TP-Link,
After updating the RE700X v1 from 1.1.4 to 1.2.10 with local file BIN: re700xv1_eu-SP1-up-ver1-2-10-P1[20250627-rel66328].bin I encountered an issue:
In the RE700X Admin Panel it displays that a firmware update 1.2.10 Build 20250627 Rel. 66328 is still available.
Then, I have to do an online update to solve this issue.
So, I recommend you to investigate about this issue.
Moreover, I saw an other issue about auto update activation that’s not saved: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/840814?replyId=1608488 from my side it saves correctly the settings defined and don’t loose its parameters.
Regards.

@Vendex
For firmware V2, yes:
RE700X(EU)_V2_1.0.2 Build 20231129

I opened this issue for firmware V1, it’s indicated, so:

Hi @Galixte ,
Welcome to our community.
Do you mean that if you manually update to 1.2.10 locally, you'll still receive the new firmware notification? And it requires an online update to eliminate this notification, right?
In this case, the device may have been sending you a regular push notification, and you needed to check the notification and then update online before it was recognized as downloading the firmware online, ultimately eliminating the notification.
Thanks for your feedback on being able to save your settings. Perhaps the inability to save settings is a coincidence.

@Joseph-TP I had rebooted the Re700X after update it locally, then, this router noticed me in admin panel that the same update is available while it's already updated.
It's not a normal behavior, there an issue, for sure.

Hello @Galixte ,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Have you tried clearing the browser's cache? Alternatively, use private mode to access the RE700X web interface.
If it still doesn't help, please help collect the backup file and system log of the RE700X. Then email the logs and backup files to support.forum@tp-link.com, attaching [Forum ID 841854] and details, and we will have a dedicated person to assist in analysis and follow-up.
