Model: Archer C54
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.12.20 Build 230608 Rel.64891n(5553)

I have a TP-Link Archer C54 that I set up as a Wi-Fi extender. I already finished the configuration, but when I tested it, it didn’t work properly. On the network map, it shows Internet Status: Poor Network. However, when I connect directly to the main router, the internet works fine.

When you setup C54 in range extender mode do this while the two routers are closer to each other. Upon successful setup re-position the C54 to its new location.

You may try the C54 updated firmware release from here. How to update the router firmware - here (Case 1).
