Cannot maintain Internet connection to Extender
Replaced older TP-link N300 extender with new RE450. Reset old N300 to factory settings before unplugging. Used Tether App to connect new RE450 to Optus Modem/Router
successfully. Tether App says all working well and online. When connecting computer to new Extender_EXT, asks for and accepts network security key each time and warns
'Some information changed since last time you connected. We need additional information to complete the connection' I'm not sure what this is, so I hit connect.
It connects OK for sometimes a minute or two, then drops out. I've tried it many times but still no good. Do I have a conflict somewhere with old and new extenders?
Appreciate any help.

Hello @Cappa76 ,
Welcome to our community.
Are you using a remote connection tool such as Microsoft Remote Desktop, TeamViewer, or a VPN client such as Cisco AnyConnect? Temporarily close these software for comparison.
If your PC is a Macbook, since the iOS 14 update, Apple has introduced significant security enhancements for iOS devices. You may occasionally see "Privacy Warning" or "Weak Security" messages on Apple devices. Please follow these troubleshooting steps:
Case 1: Weak Security
Ensure your router’s firmware is up to date. Change the Wi-Fi security to one of the following:
WPA3 Personal
WPA2/WPA3 Transitional
WPA2 Personal (AES)
Case 2: Privacy Warning
This occurs when "Private Wi-Fi Address" is disabled. Enabling it will remove the warning. For better privacy, Apple recommends keeping this feature always enabled, as it uses a unique MAC address for each Wi-Fi network.
For more details, refer to this FAQ: The Weak Security and Privacy Warning on the iOS14 or iOS15.

Thanks Joseph TP. Not IOS but windows 11. I don't know what I did, but after a few un-installs and starts over, all seems to be OK
and working well
