Model: Archer AX3000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.4 Build 20250603 rel.74380

Hi,

1. I have a easymesh setup at home, which was set up by the Service provider using Aginet App. The installation comprises of :-

Qty 02 TP-Link AX1800 EX200

Firmware Version:0.18.0 2.0.0 v6060.0 Build 241224 Rel.10488n Hardware Version:EX220 v1.28 00000000

One is set as Easymesh controller and another as Easymesh agent.
These 2 sets are working fine

2. To address the coverage gaps in the house , I recently  purchased a new AX3000 from Amazon - which was advertised as Easymesh Compatible
Details

AX3000 with Archer AX 53
Hardware version IN/1.8

I am unable to addl TP link router as easymesh agent. The new device is not getting detected at all.

Tried the foll

a) tried adding thro Aginet App and web based GUI

b) Tried direct detect, WPS mode and ethernet connection

c) Tried upgrading firmware online from 1.1.2 Build 20221019 rel.33889(5553) to latest 1.4.4 Build 20250603 rel.74380 which is supposed to address Easymesh issues !!

d) Repeated steps a) and b) after firmware upgrade.

New AX3000 device is not getting recognised and added as an Easymesh Agent.

Pls help ! what am i missing here ?

Hi,

Reset the Archer AX53 to factory default settings by pressing and holding the small "Reset" button on its rear side for about 5 seconds. Then wait 2-3 minutes to allow the AX53 to boot up again. Do not log into the AX53 at this point!

The above step is essential to prepare the AX53 to be added as EasyMesh agent.

Now start WPS on the EX220 and then (within two minutes) short-press the small "WPS/Wi-Fi" button of the AX53 (located right next to the "Reset" button). An LED on the AX53 should start blinking and then turn solid again after 10 to 20 seconds.

After that has happened the AX53 should restart itself, which again takes about 2-3 minutes.

If the procedure was successful you should now see the AX53 in the GUI of the EX200.
