Model: Archer AX1800
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: latest

Hi,

I got this router in March, updated to latest firmware then set it up and after about a month I went to my computer and no internet, the LAN said not connected.

Then since then it has lost the LAN connection so often and sometimes the wifi goes off

Everytime this happens all the lights on the router are still solid green

Has anyone else had issues like this with this model or other models?

Thanks

Hello @blurrgh ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

It seems that the network on the router is unstable on both the WAN connection and wireless connection. Please try the suggestions here:Troubleshooting: Unstable connection on the TP-Link router.

Please reply here with what you have done and the test results.

Best Regards.

  @Joseph-TP

I found a reddit thread with several people having similar issues so I am replacing it with an AX55 Pro and going to attempt to return my old one

  @blurrgh ,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Have you tried the suggestions that I sent?

May I know what the model number of your device is? Please refer to How to find the model number of your TP-Link device

You mentioned 'a Reddit thread with several people having similar issues ', would you mind providing the link? Because we are currently unable to definitively determine whether the unstable network performance of your router is caused by the modem or the router itself.
