Model: Archer AX23
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1

Hi, I have two AX23 routers both with parental controls allowing some sites to visit.

Where router store history and time spent online? on rom flash?

This data is showing even after reboot or turn off the device so it is not in /var or /log

  @YuriyB,

the router doesn’t actually keep a full browsing history like you’d expect from a computer. What you see in the parental controls (visited sites, time spent, etc.) is stored in a small internal database related to the firmware configuration. That’s why the data persists even after a reboot - it isn’t in /var or /log (those are temporary RAM-based locations), but rather saved in non-volatile memory (nvram) together with the router’s settings.

It’s also worth noting that this storage is very limited, so it only keeps the necessary information for parental control features, not a complete log of all online activity
