Hi,

 

I have a problem with my AX73 router. From some time (rather months than days) it started to restart randomly. I don't think it is related to new device connection. Onlny one colearation which I observed is that most often router restarts when I get a phone call troguht wi-fi calling but it isn't every time. Also when I didn't use wi-fi calling I didn't notice router restart even once.

Togheter with router I use RE705x as extender.

I have done factory reset but it didn't help

 

Please help me to solve the issue.

  @Tomasz_C  it can sometimes be caused by the power adapter getting weaker with time, when Wi-Fi Calling starts it puts extra load on the router and if the power is unstable this could trigger a restart. Since you already did a factory reset without success, I would suggest to make sure you have the latest firmware for the AX73, and if you are already on the newest one try to reflash it and test again. If the issue still happens after that, it could be worth trying another compatible power adapter just to rule it out

  @Vendex thank you for your answer. Since I already done first two suggestions, what's maximum current consumpition of the router to use correct power supply?

The original power supply for the Archer AX73 is rated 12V / 2.5A (30W). The actual power draw of the router is usually lower, but you should always use an adapter with at least this rating to be safe
