Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.3.0

Hello,

on the Deco app, I created a new network before removing the old one. I can no longer connect the app to the old one to remove it, most of my devices are still connected to the old one.

I'm trying to work out either how to remove the old one, or ideally use the app to manage the old one again and delete the new one.

Any help much appreciated,

Gareth

@Garethjr In the home screen of Deco app, tapping on the "three lines menu" (also known as the "burger" menu) at the top left corner will show your old network (if it was managed with the same TP-Link ID)

For details, see this page: How to delete a network on the Deco app

@ImtiazAli it only shows the new one sad Despite Fing show me 11 devices connected to the old one!

I fear I need to do a factory reset and start all over again.

When you created the new network did you use the same SSID and password from the old network?

@HelpFixDecoApp I copied the details of it, as it offered to me, but gave it a slightly different name. But I didn't delete it first, which appears to be the big mistake!

From the Network tab in the deco app if you click on the three vertical lines at the top then click Owner can you see the names of both networks?

It was worth a shot. If a Deco network appears active after being deleted from the app, it usually means that at least one Deco unit did not properly factory reset, so you should perform a hard reset on all individual Deco units by pressing and holding their reset button for approximately 10 seconds until the light flashes. You can then set up a new network from scratch using the Deco app to resolve the issue and remove the old network entirely.

When you do the reset make sure to create the new network using the same SSID and password that you currently use for the 2nd network
