Firmware Version:

I own an AC1300 Dual Band Wifi Link that is installed into a USB port of my PC and it had been working for a few months until a power outage a few days back had suddenly rendered the device incapable of connecting to the internet. The adapter can identify ISPs and can connect with them via wifi, but none of them will grant me internet connection. I have attempted to use my phone's hotspot as well, yet still no internet.

For days I have gone through a dozen different troubleshooting methods that I have found across the internet. I have unplugged the router, my PC, I have rebooted my PC, I have rebooted the router, tried a dozen various command prompts, switched USB ports, made sure that all USB ports are active and that the adapter's light is green, I have even purchased another adapter in case the issue was with the one I had, still the same issue with even the new one.

I haven't a clue what is stopping me from connecting to the internet all of a sudden. I'm not tech savvy in any way, but I've done everything various forums and videos have suggested with no results or conclusion as to what the problem is.

Hello @Kyle555 ,

I think the answer is obvious: there's probably something wrong with your PC's port recognition.
Because the network adapter works fine on laptop.

Hello @Kyle555 ,

Welcome to our community.

Have you tried a different PC and tested the adapter?

Also, could you uninstall and reinstall a new driver?  How to remove old and useless drivers in Windows

@Joseph-TP I have uninstalled old drivers and clicked update on all my network adapter drives, but all current ones say they are up to date. The adapter does work on my laptop, though my PC still won't allow me to connect to the internet using it.
