Hi,

If you are asking about the screen where Tether asks for a "TP-Link ID (Email)" and a "password", then yes, you can use the same credentials like you enter when logging into this community.

@woozle Thanks for the response, the problem is that it keeps saying that it's the wrong password or login so I'm not sure what to do after trying so many times even after changing the password it still didn't work. Is it better to login with a browser on a computer instead of the app since that doesn't seem to work?

Thanks

Peter

There are a couple more things you could try.

In case you are using passwords that contain very special characters, then perhaps try a simpler password with numbers and English letters for a test. (you can always change it back later)

Or if you have another e-mail address at hand, then create a new TP-Link account directly via the Tether app.

If you ask me "Is it better to login with a browser ...", then I'd personally say yes. Some settings are actually only accessible via the web interface, but not via the Tether app. Whether you run the web browser on a computer, phone or tablet is up to you. In case http://tplinkwifi.net/ doesn't work four you, then try http://192.168.0.1 instead.
