Severe Packet Loss and Ping Spikes on TX401 V2 with Windows Server (Not Present on Linux)
Hi,
I’m using a TP-Link TX401 V2 network card, and I’m experiencing severe packet loss and ping spikes whenever there’s a download or a speed test on Windows Server 2025 (and also tested on 2022).
I’ve tried the latest Marvell AQC113 drivers, flashed the BIOS, and tested multiple configurations — including disabling offload, EEE, and power-saving options — but the issue persists.
Interestingly, this problem does not occur on Linux, where the connection remains perfectly stable under load.
I’ve also completely reinstalled Windows Server multiple times, but the behavior remains the same.
Could you please advise what might be causing this or provide an updated driver or firmware fix?
Thank you

There’s been no proper response so far — only unhelpful comments like “drivers” or suggestions that the issue is on my end. However, this affects five separate systems, all using your NIC and running Windows Server 2022 or 2025. The problem is clearly reproducible and not isolated to a single setup.
