Cannot Connect to 5GHz Freebox Pop Network (Archer T600U Nano)
My Archer T600U Nano adapter sees the 5GHz network from my Freebox Pop router (Freebox-XXXX-5g), but it fails to connect with the error: "Could not connect to this network." The 2.4GHz connection works perfectly. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:
1. Driver: Installed the latest official driver from TP-Link website (please specify your OS, e.g., for Windows 10/11). I also tried uninstalling/reinstalling
2. SSID Separation: The 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks are separated (e.g., Maison_2G and Maison_5G).
3. Router Settings (Freebox Pop): The 5GHz band is forced to use WPA2-PSK/AES only (no WPA3 or TKIP).
4. Channel/Bandwidth: Tested low, non-DFS channels (36, 40, 44, 48). I also forced the channel width to 40MHz (instead of 80MHz).
5. Power Management: Disabled the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option for the adapter in Device Manager.
