Archer BE550 - Have to restart router daily to get speed improvement
Hi Folks,
I have an Archer BE550 connected to my 1000mbps / 50 mbps connection. Whenever I use my connection I find my speeds at 100 mbps/50mbps. I have to restart my router to be able to get my speeds back to normal. I have to do this several times a day.
I would like to be able to trouble shoot this issue. I am wondering if it is due to the router or my actual internet connection. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Hello @veteran78 ,
Thanks for contacting our community.
Have you connected the BE550 to the modem via Ethernet cable? If yes, please connect the PC or another router to the modem directly(bypass the BE550). Test if the speed is normal?
Please try a different cable between the modem and BE550.
Do you check for high-traffic processes every time the network slows down? Is the duration of each slowdown consistent?
