Model: Archer BE230
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.1

I've been experiencing a latency in sending data to WhatsApp for about 6 months after some updates that I don't understand. And I know it's the router because it doesn't happen to me on the TP Link Deco either with cell phone data, but it does on this router regardless of whether I deactivate or activate QOS, giving priority to my OnePlus 11.

Hello @Arian0 ,

Welcome to our community.

For your case, here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot:

1. Check for ISP Issues: Disconnect your router from the ISP modem and connect your phone or PC directly to the modem. Test WhatsApp to see if the issue persists. If the problem remains, it may be related to your ISP.

2. Disable VPN or Proxy: Make sure there is no VPN or network proxy enabled on your device, as these can sometimes cause latency with certain apps.

3. Change DNS Server: Open the Tether app, go to MORE > Internet Connection, and change the DNS server to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. After updating the DNS server, reconnect your device to the router network to ensure the new DNS settings take effect.

4. Clear WhatsApp cache and keep the firmware up-to-date.

Best Regards.
