AV500 Powerline TL-PA4010P and TL-WA830RE as an access point
Hardware Version : Not Clear

Hello,
I have a TL-WA830RE range extender but it is far away from the main router and even though I have managed to set it up as a range extender the quality is pretty bad.
On my network I already have two AV500 Powerline Adapter with AC Pass Through. I was hoping I could connect the lan from the powerline to the TL-WA830RE and have it set up as an access point.
Although I successfully created a new wireless with the TL-WA830RE as an acess point I cannot access the internet.
Has anyone managed to do something similar? I believe I may have not set the correct DHCP Settings.
Can someone help with the configuration of the network or this set up cannot work by default?
Thank you

The TL-WA830RE is a range extender, while the TL-PA4010 is a powerline adapter. How do you connect them together?
The DHCP server on the TL-WA830RE does not have to be disabled. It will turn it off automatically once it detects that there is another DHCP server existed.

@Kevin_Z TL-WA830RE has ethernet port and TL-PA4010 has ethernet port. So with patch cable.

@Kevin_Z I have tried to connect TL-WA601G to TL-PA4010P but for some reason connection to acces point (TL-WA601G) does not work. When TL-WA601G is connected directly to the router, it works fine.

If you want to connect the TL-WA830RE to the TL-PA4010 by wired cable to boost wifi signal, you need configure the TL-WA830RE as an access point.
What is the hardware version of TL-WA830RE? As far as I know, the TL-WA830RE V3 supports access point mode.

@Kevin_Z I have 2 units. TL-WA730RE and TL-WA601G.Both units can work in AP mode and they work when connected to any router. But when I connect any of those 2 units to TL-PA4010 by wired cable to boost wifi signal, TL-WA730RE and TL-WA601G do not work correctly. PC can connect to AP, but it does not get correct IP address from router (DHCP), so there is no internet...
Is there some guide I should follow?
Thank you
