Deco M4 doesn't show NAS drives
I have 5 NAS drive in my network, all of them with fixed ip's.
I'm able to access to them, browse files, play some videos, etc.
However none of them are shown in the tplink app.
I've rebooted the Deco but no luck.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you have several NAS drives with fixed IP addresses on your Deco Mesh network, and while you can access and use them normally, they do not appear in the Deco app's client list, even after rebooting your Deco system.
Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:
1. If the Deco app shows zero online client devices:
• After opening the Deco app, wait a few minutes to allow all devices to be detected.
• Reboot your main Deco unit.
• Make sure your Deco app is updated to the latest version available from Google Play or the App Store.
2. If some devices (like your NAS drives) are not shown as 'online' but are working fine:
• Ensure there are no other routers using the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as your Deco system.
• Check that your NAS drives are set to obtain their IP addresses automatically via DHCP, rather than using static IP settings. Devices with manually configured static IPs may sometimes not appear in the Deco app's client list.
• Reboot your entire Deco system to refresh the device list.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, please contact TP-Link support and provide the results of the troubleshooting steps above so we can assist you further.

@HelpFixDecoApp Hi, sorry I completely miss you message, thanks for replying!
Regargind:
1. If the Deco app shows zero online client devices:
> The deco app show some devices, some macs and some NAS drives.
2. If some devices (like your NAS drives) are not shown as 'online' but are working fine:
• Ensure there are no other routers using the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as your Deco system.
> there's no other wifi network, this is the only one.
• Check that your NAS drives are set to obtain their IP addresses automatically via DHCP, rather than using static IP settings. Devices with manually configured static IPs may sometimes not appear in the Deco app's client list.
> I need static IPs for the NAS drives,
• Reboot your entire Deco system to refresh the device list.
> I did this more than once, last one was one week ago, and still the same issue, at least 2 NAS drives are not shown although I can read files, copy, delete, etc.

You can configure static IP addresses for your NAS drives by using Deco mesh functionality: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1795/
As long as you have static IP configured on your NAS drives the way you have them now, Deco mesh will not see them. It is also possible there will be IP address conflicts, because Deco will not see NAS drives and assume it can assign their IPs to other devices.

@Alexandre. Thanks for replying.
I have 5 NAS drives in the network, all configured with static ip addresses. Three of them are shown in the app but the remaining two arent ... it is weird ....
Regarding if there's another device using the same ip, I dont think so, in the last week I've been moving a lot of files between them and I always able yo connect to them, see shares, copy, deletes, etc files.
When I was starting to use the deco m4 (three years ago), I faced the issue that you mentioned, some devices using the same ip as NAS.But then I reserved those ips for the NAS drives and set as static ips. Never see those symptoms again.

Is there any limit on the number of external drives you can hook up to a deco? Any other ideas why only 3 of the 5 NAS drives are showing up?
