A new shiny router, but an existing setup on a Gigaset N300 is not allowing registration of the accounts on the new router. Setup still works OK on old router. 'Registration failed' is the message on both VOIP accounts with separate providers. No2 (Voipfone) cannot come up with a solution. 'ISP' is Starlink.

OK - in case anyone else has this issue with Sipgate VOIP, the answer is to disable UPNP on the router.

Hi,

Back when the Gigaset N300 was setup for the old router, was it set to IP Address Type "Dynamic" or "Static"?

In case it was set to "Static", then you might need to adjust the addresses to suit the new router's local network.
