Effects of Wind on Wifi Bridge Performance
Hi,
I am based in the Scottish Hebrides and we have more than our fair share of strong winds particularly in winter. I am interested to know if there is any likelihood of a reduction in performance of the significant number of wifi bridges I have installed - and am yet to install - on the estate I work for, here, due to the antenae vibrating in a very strong wind on even pretty rigid mounts.
Regards, Martin Winlow.

The performance of WiFi bridging devices may indeed be affected by severe strong winds. The specific impact cannot be predicted. However, you can mitigate the issue through the following methods:
Reinforce the antenna mount: Ensure the antenna mount is sturdy enough to withstand strong winds. Consider using a heavier mount or adding extra support.
Regular inspection and maintenance: Periodically check the wirless bridge and antenna to ensure they are in good working condition. If any damage or performance issues are found, repair or replace them promptly.
Consider indoor installation: If possible, install the wireless bridge and antenna indoors to minimize wind impact.
