Model: Archer C88
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.13.15 Build 240812 Rel.53972n(4555)

Hi everyone, I'm writing because I've been having a problem since day 1 with my TPlink Archer C88 AC1900 access point, installed in parallel. It's connected via a 40-meter CAT5e LAN cable to the main router (TimHub ZXHN H 388X with 1 GB FTTH).
I'm having constant disconnections: for example, everything works fine for an hour, then it disconnects for 5-6 seconds, reconnects for the same amount of time, disconnects another 5-6 times, then stabilizes for about half an hour and starts again with disconnections that can be once every hour, as well as 5-6 second disconnections for at least 3-4 minutes.
From what I've read on the forum, the TPlink is set up correctly: access point, static IP, and DHCP disabled, but I'm still having this problem. The cable has a properly made splice with a pass-through connector. Could it be a TIM router settings issue? I'm attaching screenshots of the TPLink settings; I haven't changed anything on the main TIM router. Thanks a lot.

Hello @Marco869415 ,

Welcome to our community.

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

TimHub ZXHN H 388XArcher C88 AP mode)))(((Clients

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

Here are some suggestions that you can try:

    1. Test the internet connection by connecting your client devices directly to the main router. This will help determine whether the anomaly is specific to the C88 or a problem with the router itself.
    2. Try using a different port or cable to connect the C88 and the main router.
    3. Verify that the host router does not have parental controls, blacklists, whitelists, or other advanced features.
