I replaced my router and nic with TP-Link devices to try to correct what looks like a wifi issue.

Still having problems (look different) but was wondering if everyone gets these massive event log entry numbers (41000 events in 4 days)

Nothing says it is failing.  That I can see

Thanks

  @Dogless

Hi,

I can't speak for the TBE552E in particular, but I have the one with the cheaper version of MediaTek's Wi-Fi 7 modules (the one with only 160 MHz channel width on the 6 GHz band instead of 320 MHz). However, they both use the same driver package.

I checked the Event Viewer on my PC and there are not so many events. For the whole month of October it shows 500 events for mtkwecx.

By the way, what exactly do you mean by "latest driver"? Latest from the TP-Link webpage or latest in general?
At present, the latest publicly available driver version is 5.7.0.4755 dated 10/15/2025.

Hi Thanks for the response. The driver i got is from https://www.tp-link.com/ca/support/download/archer-tbe552e/ I used the Win64 version. It's version is 5.4.0.3119. Says published 2025-09-26 on the web page but the driver is dated 2024-12-26 Where about did you find that version you are mentioning. Thanks

Yours is the MT7927. Win11 x64 is currently the only OS supported.
