Wpa281kit powerline - slow data

Just purchased and installed to extend wifi signal to upstairs far bedroom. Very easy to install and connect (running through power sockets) full signal strength now recd however the data transfer is really slow (dial up would be quicker). Any suggestions anyone. It's on the same power circuit as downstairs as tested by turning trip switch off.
