TP-Link Archer TX20U gives slow speed
Hello, I have a Wi-Fi 6 Zyxel EX3501-T0 modem. I don't understand why it's 580 Mbps and not 930. Is there a solution? If I buy a Wi-Fi 6 mesh, will it solve the problem?

Hi,
Providing Mbps numbers without any context doesn't tell us much.
If your TX20U is only about a meter away from the Wi-Fi router, then yes, 584 Mbps can be considered slow.
But if there was a considerable distance between the TX20U and the Wi-Fi router or if they were located in two different rooms, then 584 Mbps would still be a very fast speed for a TX20U.

@woozle I understand that the modem is 5 meters away from the next room. I'd better get a Wi-Fi mesh for my room.

According to its product webpage the EX3501-T0 is has AX3000-class Wi-Fi and supports 160 MHz channel width.
https://www.zyxel<dot>com/service-provider/global/en/products/ethernet-cpe/ethernet-gateways/ex3501ex3500-t0-series (replace <dot> with . )
So, another possible option would be to exchange the "AX1800" Archer TX20U to an "AX3000" USB Wi-Fi adapter, provided the seller is willing to take back the TX20U.
