Router admin login keeps returning me to login screen when in access point mode
When this router switches to Access Point mode, I cannot log into it. After entering PW the log in screen flashes and returns to log in screen. I have a nother TP-Link router on the same network acting as the router. I can plug directly into this AX-11000, disconnect from the network and the same pattern continues. I have tried restricting the http://tplinkwifi.net/ to the AX-11000 IP and no change. I have tried Incognitto, no change. I have tried different browsers, no change.
The odd thing is, if i reboot the router and log in as soon as possible, I can get into it. If I log out, the log in loop restarts. I have rest the AX-11000 four times and the pattern repeats after moving to access point mode.
I can get to it from the Tether app, but settings in Tether are very limited.
Help would be appreciated.

Hello @krfan ,
Welcome to our community.
In AP mode, the router's default IP address may change. Try to find the current IP address assigned to your router by checking the DHCP client list on your main router (the one providing Internet access). The Wi-Fi Router in AP mode will appear as a connected device.
Once you have the correct IP address, open a web browser and enter that IP address in the address bar (for example, http://192.168.1.X).
For more details, please refer to What should I do if I fail to login web interface of TP-Link Wireless Access Point?
Best Regards.

The IP of the AX- 11000 is
| ArcherAX11000 |
|
192.168.1.51 |
on my network. I can access the log in page. When I enter the admin password and press Log In, the page will flash and take me back to the original log in page. This repeats.
As I previously stated, I have factory reset the AX-11000 Four times and each time I place it into Access Point mode the pattern noted above repeats.

Hello @krfan ,
Thanks for getting back to me.
What is the model of your main router? Did you connect the main router LAN port to the AX11000's WAN port? If yes, change it to AX11000's LAN port for a try.
If it doesn't help, please temporarily remove the Ethernet cable from AX11000, and use the default IP address or domain name to log in to AX11000's web interface. Then reconnect it back to the AX11000, and see if the page will flash and take back to the original login page?
In addition, the features are also limited when the router works in Access Point mode. May I know what features you want to manage that you cannot control via the App?

It's most likely your browser or it's settings, you should get a warning that the page isn't secure and do you want to carry on, there have been times when one browser refused me but another allowed me in as well so don't rely on one browser and try getting another browser and don't mess with it's settings until afterwards.
If you block all cookies I'm pretty sure this also stops you entering the router page and the other thing to do is to take the cable out of the back so it's isolated from the internet while you work, hth.

My Main Router is a BE9300. Yes the AX is connected to the lan port. I have nothing plugged into the AX's WAN port. I have tried the disconnect from the home LAN and connect only to the AX and the result is the same. I've tried disconneting the AX from the LAN then disconnect the accessing PC from the AX and reconnecting it. No luck, log in loop continues.
Yes I know features are limited in access point mode. The features I was referring to was accessing thru the Tether app further limits the already limited feature set. I am not requesting additional features.
Another ODD thing is if, I reboot the AX-11000 and log in as soon as possible, I can get into the router successfully. If I log out and try to get back in the log in loop starts again.

I've tried different browsers, Chrome and Edge. I've tried clearing browser catch. I've tried on different computers.
If I could flash and old firmware, I would try, but at this point my attempt to do that have not been successful. The router complains about tring to flash an older firmware.
Thanks for you input.
I'm likely going to move to a different/new router/access point. This one is something like 6 years old.
