TP Link USB printer controller problem (Win11)
Hi
I have read all the issues and solutions you have provided I. this forum, but nothing has worked for me so far. I made a recording to visualize the error I get "USB device not recognized", although same software, drivers and network has worked for another 3 devices. The only difference is the Windows version, which is 11 for the one not working. The interesting part is that printer is visible, but does not print when in the network, prints if I connect it directly to the printer.
Here is the video;

Is it possible that the Printer Controller tried to only send it to the printer instead of sending it to the router and is this fixable?
Thanks!
Bobi

Hello @Bobi67 ,
Thanks for getting back to me.
If the other three printers work fine, the issue is likely due to limitations in Windows 11's USB settings.
Alternatively, could you verify whether this printer works on another PC running a non-Windows 11 OS?
If it does, you could contact the printer's support to confirm whether you need to modify the settings on Windows 11.

Hello @Bobi67 ,
If your router firmware is 3.15.1 Build 160719 Rrl. 57530n, it looks like your router version is a bit old.
Please update it to the latest version , Archer C7(EU)_V2_241108.
Updating firmware manually, please see How to Upgrade the Firmware on the TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers (New Logo)

@Joseph-TP thanks a lot for the reply. I updated the firmware, but the problem is still there.
I noticed also that in the settings the printer seems to be offline, but I don't know what changes this mode. For reference in the settings if the other devices the printer's mode is "pause".
Thanks again for the suggestion.
Regards,
Boris
