Hi,

I have just moved into a new house and had the internet set-up using a Archer AX18 router. This is a cottage with thick stone walls and the internet coverage is poor in the rooms furthest from the router. The router is in the lounge and the rooms with bad WiFi reception are the bedroom upstairs and kitchen at the rear of the house. I have the option to run an Ethernet cable to each of the rooms. Could I connect an ethernet cable directly from the LAN port of the Archer AX18 to a Deco E3 in the bedroom and another cable from a different LAN port to another Deco in the kitchen? Would each Deco, then provide WiFi in the respective rooms?

Many thanks in advance

Puddled

Hi @Puddled ,

Yes, if you want to set up an independent SSID for each Deco unit, you need to set them separately as separate networks. To add a new Deco netowork, you can refer to How to create a new network in the Deco app
